Taro Root (known as Arbi or Colocasia in India) is a dense, highly starchy root
vegetable with a brown, slightly hairy outer skin and white-to-purple-flecked
internal flesh. Essential to many Asian, African, and Pacific Island cuisines,
our export Taro is cured and carefully cleaned of excessive hair/soil, resulting
in a firm, long-lasting shelf product with exceptional nutty flavor when cooked.
Aethon Overseas supplies taro available as small round arbi, large colocasia root, arbi leaves (patra). From trial samples to multi-container annual contracts, every lot is cleaned, graded and quality-checked before shipment — with a Certificate of Analysis, phytosanitary certificate and full export documentation included.
