How each certification protects your shipments, simplifies customs and de-risks sourcing from India.
The Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) is the statutory body under India's Ministry of Commerce that regulates scheduled agricultural exports. Without an APEDA Registration-cum-Membership Certificate (RCMC), no Indian exporter can legally ship products like cashews, fresh produce, processed foods or floriculture items internationally. For you as an importer, an APEDA-registered supplier means smoother customs clearance, eligibility for trade-fair invitations, and access to government-backed quality control — including phytosanitary inspections at port of loading.
The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) license verifies that our entire supply chain — from sourcing through processing, packaging and dispatch — complies with India's Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006. This is the primary food-safety guarantee accepted by retail chains across the EU, UK, USA, Canada, GCC and Southeast Asia, and is required for product registration in many destination countries. Our FSSAI license covers manufacturing, packaging and trading activities, with renewal every 5 years.
The Importer Exporter Code (IEC) issued by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) is mandatory for any cross-border trade transaction in or out of India. Our active IEC, paired with MSME (Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises) registration and a current GST (Goods and Services Tax) registration, means every export invoice we issue is fully compliant for your country's import-duty calculation, refund claims and bank documentation (Letter of Credit, Documentary Collection or Telegraphic Transfer).
Beyond company-level certifications, every consignment ships with a standard documentation pack: Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading (or Air Waybill), Certificate of Origin (issued by the Federation of Indian Export Organisations), Phytosanitary Certificate (issued by India's Plant Quarantine Authority), and a Certificate of Analysis (COA) from a NABL-accredited laboratory covering moisture content, foreign matter, microbiological load, pesticide residues and product-specific quality markers — such as curcumin % for turmeric, piperine % for black pepper, volatile oil % for cumin, or W-grade verification for cashews.
On request, we add destination-country compliance documents to the shipment pack — including USDA Organic certification, EU Organic (Regulation 2018/848), Halal certification (issued by the Halal Council of India), Kosher (OU/Star-K), Rainforest Alliance, Fairtrade, BRC Global Standard and SMETA-audited supplier verification. These are typically arranged 4–6 weeks before container loading; let us know your destination requirements at the inquiry stage so we can confirm pricing and timeline.
Every certificate displayed on this page is real, current and independently verifiable. APEDA registration can be checked at apeda.gov.in using our certificate number; FSSAI licenses are searchable at foscos.fssai.gov.in; IEC validity is confirmable on the DGFT portal. We encourage every prospective buyer to verify our certifications before placing the first order — a five-minute step that confirms you're working with a legitimate, active exporter.
