Radish from India — sourced, graded and export-ready.

The large, elongated White Radish (commonly called Daikon or Mooli) is a winter staple in India. Boasting a crisp, slightly peppery flavor with high water content, it is heavily exported to Asian communities worldwide for use in salads, pickles, and traditional parathas. We also supply smaller round red radishes, carefully harvesting them before they become pithy.

Aethon Overseas supplies radish available as white daikon / mooli, red radish / round, icicle radish. From trial samples to multi-container annual contracts, every lot is cleaned, graded and quality-checked before shipment — with a Certificate of Analysis, phytosanitary certificate and full export documentation included.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Common questions about sourcing radish from Aethon Overseas.

Yes, Indian Radishes (Mooli) are available for export throughout the year. The peak season for the highest crispness and mild pungency is during the winter months, from October to March. We source primarily from the fertile belts of North and West India to ensure consistent quality.

Every shipment of radish undergoes rigorous pesticide Maximum Residue Limit (MRL) testing in APEDA-authorized laboratories. We comply with Global GAP standards and provide mandatory Phytosanitary Certification to meet the safety requirements of the EU, UK, and Middle East markets.

We offer radish in 20-25kg ventilated mesh bags for wholesale markets and 10-15kg corrugated fiberboard (CFB) cartons for retail chains. For international transit, we maintain a strict cold chain at 0-2°C in refrigerated (reefer) containers to preserve freshness and crunch.

Our primary export destinations include the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and the United Kingdom. We supply to ethnic grocery supermarket chains, international vegetable wholesalers, and specialized fresh-cut vegetable units.
