Fennel quality is determined by seed size (Bold grade), color (bright green vs brownish), and volatile oil content (minimum 1.5%). Our premium export-grade fennel is sortex-cleaned to ensure no stems, dust, or discolored seeds are included.
These semi-arid regions provide the dry climate required for fennel seeds to mature with a high concentration of anethole (the compound responsible for its sweet, anise-like flavor). Gujarat, in particular, is the global benchmark for bold-sized green fennel.
Beyond culinary use, bulk fennel is a key raw material for the herbal tea industry (digestive blends), pharmaceutical carminative preparations, and the confectionery industry for manufacturing traditional mouth fresheners (mukhwas).
Our standard bulk packaging is 25kg or 50kg new PP/Jute bags. We also offer vacuum packing for premium retail clients to preserve color and aroma. Our standard MOQ for international sea freight is 500kg.
